Prayer Service: Remembering the 25th Anniversary of 9-11
At 8:46 a.m. on Friday, September 11th, the Berks Catholic school community came together in somber prayer and solitude to remember the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 attacks. Fr. Kuna led the prayer service remembering those who died on that day. During the prayer service, Fr. Kuna reminded students that they belong to a generation born after the tragic events and stressed the importance of remembering this sacred day. Fr. Kuna went on to say, “I am so happy that we gathered today as a Catholic school community to pray for those whose lives were lost, to celebrate the heroism of first responders and to ask the Lord to bring peace and light to our world.”
BC Saints and Eagle Scouts Carter Greenwood ‘ 28 and Alex Reali ’28, processed in carrying the US and PA state flags. The Honors Choir sang, leading the school in several patriotic songs. Also in attendance were first responders and family members who lost loved ones on that day.
