Service Hours

Number of Community Service Hours

required at Berks Catholic:

  • Grade 9 minimum of 5 hours Freshman Year
  • Grade 10 minimum of 10 hours Sophomore Year
  • Grade 11 minimum of 10 hours Junior Year
  • Grade 12 minimum of 10 hours Senior Year

Graduation Requirement – 35 Hours

The Service Hour requirement minimums must be met each year a student attends Berks Catholic. A student can not accumulate hours in any one year to be used in future years.

  • Service hours are entered in an application identified as “Mobile Serve.”
  • Students will be given instructions from the Campus Ministry Office in the beginning of the school year on how to use this app.
  • Students will only get credit for hours entered into Mobile Serve using their Berks Catholic email issued to them.
    • Hard copy verifications are not needed and will not be accepted.
    • The system does not recognize emails other than the students Berks Catholic email.
